I am so excited for the 1st episode of the Rooted Table Talks to launch on February 27th on our Clean Food Mama YouTube channel.

In the first episode I had the pleasure of talking with Kristin with 185th Produce about their newly acquired business, how they work with local farms to bring in fresh produce to their customers and we even talk about some of the underrated root vegetables.

The 2nd episode will be released on the same day when I take some of those underrated root vegetables and show you how to prepare and cook them with an easy and nutritious dish the whole family can enjoy!

Happy New Year! I hope you are having an amazing start to the new year! 💖 ✨ It's been a little while since we caught up, and I thought what better time than the start of this brand new year to reintroduce myself. I'm Stephanie Collazo, a wife, mom to two wonderful sons, and the cozy Pacific Northwest in Washington State is where I call home. 🏞️🌲 My days are spent in a multigenerational life surrounded by our amazing farm animals, many of whom are rescues. It's a privilege to love on them and be a part of giving them the better life they truly deserve. But let me take you back a bit... Almost 11 years ago, my personal health journey began. It has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs. In 2013, after some of my family was diagnosed with health issues, I knew we needed to make a change. We started adopting a clean eating lifestyle. Then, in 2019, I created Clean Food Mama to share the recipes we were making in our own kitchen. Fast forward to 2020. My husband was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabates, and his doctor suggested he go plant-based. Supporting him became a family affair, and almost 4 years later, it's one of the best decisions we've made. Not only did it help me shed over 170 pounds and help me heal my relationship with food, but it also allowed my husband to reverse his diabetes. Over the years Clean Food Mama has evolved from a clean eating blog to an online plant-based resource, but my mission remains steadfast – to passionately support women on their health journeys, helping them reach their goals and cultivate a nourishing lifestyle for their families. 🌱💪 If you've been part of the Clean Food Mama community, thank you for sharing this journey with me.
