Lemon Garlic Dressing

When I set out to create this dressing, it was to complement my husbands delicious Oil-free Air Fryer Plantains (Tostones). 

You see over the years I have been a huge Tessemae’s fan.

They have some of the best dressings out there, but since going more plant-based earlier this year, we have almost omitted all oils in our house, so that meant that I had to get in the kitchen and create a dressing that would taste just as good as Tesserae’s but oil-free and egg-free. 

It took a few test runs, but I think this one definitely is a great alternative to Tesserae’s Lemon Garlic Dressing and even better, I got the seal of approval from my husband and both of my teenage boys.

All you will need for this recipe is a food processor or blender and these ingredients:

  • 2 lemons, squeezed
  • Zest of a lemon
  • 2 TBSP of Dijon Mustard
  • 6-7 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 TSP Oregano or Italian Seasoning
  • 1 TSP Salt
  • 1 TSP Black Pepper

Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Add additional spices for taste and serve.

Garlic Lemon Sauce

Garlic Lemon Sauce

This Lemon Garlic Sauce makes a great dip or salad dressing.

Total Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 lemons, squeezed
  • Zest of a lemon
  • 2 TBSP of Dijon Mustard
