If you’re a lover of the great outdoors, hiking is an excellent way to blow away those cobwebs and improve your mood. It also helps you relax by producing endorphins in the brain. Walking the dog or a round of golf are other relaxing yet physically beneficial ways of calling time out, as are spa days or a simple chat with friends over coffee.

The benefits of fresh air are well documented, but what about the quality of air in your home? The benefits of having good indoor air quality are numerous and include the ability to breathe easier. You’re more likely to come down with an illness if the air you breathe is contaminated. The cleaner the air, the easier it is to rest, and cooler air makes it easier to sleep.
You can improve the air quality in your home by opening your windows, changing your AC filters, keeping your rugs and carpets clean, checking air ducts, and placing indoor plants around your home. Indoor plants such as peace lilies and snake plants are known for purifying the air in a home.
